CNC LATHING
Our years of experience working with lathes provides our customers top-quality manufacturing for products of all shapes, sizes, and precision requirements
What is CNC lathe machine
CNC lathe machine:
What sets the CNC milling machine apart from the pack is its unique ability to create a rounded finish by rotating workpieces around the X and Z axis while a chuck holds the tool in place. In this sense, the function, but not rotational speed, of the CNC’s rotary axis is comparable to that of a lathe. CNC turning centers are recommended for workpieces that require both CNC milling machines and CNC lathes functions.
The CNC turning and milling center adds a head to the turret of a CNC lathe, compromising its speed relative to a CNC milling machine but giving it the added advantage of greater compatibility and higher precision. In recent years, CNC turning and milling machines have served as the cast from which modern technological advancements, like dual-spindle and single or double-turret turning and milling machines, have been forged. Their superior functioning processes combined with an adjustable clamping surface make it easier to produce multiple features of the same workpiece and achieve optimal integrated molding.
Fixed head lathes are the most prevalent CNC lathes on the market partly because of their ability to perform heavy cutting procedures. Although not suitable for heavy cutting, with workpieces typically spanning less than 32mm in diameter and the ability to be transported with rod-shaped materials, the sliding head CNC lathe is slightly less prevalent and the ideal tool for processing long workpieces, achieving higher concentricity, and the high-productivity continuous processing of small and complex-shaped workpieces, such as needle valve parts, small transmission shafts, magnetic disks, and the internal parts of optical disk drives.
CNC vertical lathes are specifically designed for workpieces with larger radial sizes. Rather than the typical horizontal bed table of general lathes, vertical lathes feature an upright appearance that enhances clamping and nullifies the risks associated with heavier, large radial workpieces.
At HUBTICLE, we use our years of experience working with lathes to offer our customers optimal manufacturing arrangements for products of all shapes, sizes, and precision requirements.
